FUNCTION
Adjust temperature according to fabric to be ironed.(see table below)
Indicator light will go off when desired temperature is reached. The light will go on
and off as the temperature is regulated by the adjustable thermostat.
Super smooth non stick ironing surface. If ironing surface is sticky ensure
temperature setting is correct as per table below and item being ironed is clean.
Using the measuring cup only, fill the tank with clean water here. Use demineralized
water in hard water areas or water with lime scale.

Do not overfill. Water level in tank is easily visible during ironing.
Choose desired level of steam or dry ironing by rotating the knob
Depress for spraying water onto fabric for dry ironing or when required.
Depress the strong steam button for extra surge of steam for ironing out difficult

- Set the temperature control dial to the correct
temperature as indicated in the ironing
IRONING INSTRUCTIONS
instructions on the label or as per table above.
- The correct temperature will be reached when
the indication light has switched off. The indication
light will go on and off from time to time indicating
that the selected temperature is being maintained.
Note: The iron may smoke slightly when
switched on for the first time. This is normal and
will soon cease.
Please read these instructions carefully before use.
Important!: have you read the section “Important Safe-
guards”?
CHOICE OF WATER
- This iron can be used with normal tap water.
- If the water in your area is particularly hard. It is
advisable to use distilled or demineralized water to
prevent the scale forming on the critical point of the
iron.
- Do not use chemically de-scaled water.
Note: Water may leak from the soleplate if the
temperature selected is too low.
This will then cause stains. If it happens, set
the temperature control to the advised position
for steam ironing. Steaming will re-commence
as soon as the appropriate temperature has
been reached.
SPRAYING
- At any temperature by pressing on the spray
button a couple of times, the laundry can be
damped down.
- Ensure that there is enough water in the water
tank.
FILLING WITH WATER
- Ensure that the iron is disconnected from the pow-
er supply before filling.
- Turn the dry/steam selector dial to “0” or dry
position.
- Fill water through the aperture using the measur-
ing cup only. (If you fill the iron at the tap, water can
spill into the electrics and trip your earth leakage or
blow the iron.)
Note* Do not fill higher than indication “MAX”
of the water tank, In order to avoid spilling out
of water.
- Do not fill with any thing but clean water. If you
have to refill while ironing, remove the mains
plug from the wall socket before filling.
- Pour out any remaining water after use.
SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
- Insert the plug in the wall socket and stand the
iron upright.

• Always store the iron in an upright position.
DRY IRONING
• Insert the plug into the wall socket.
• Ensure that the dry/steam selector button (C) is
in position“0”.
• Select the setting on the temperature control
dial best suited for the fabric to be ironed.
• When the indication light has switched off, iron-
ing may commence.
STEAM-IRONING
• As indicated on the temperature control dial
and the temperature table, steam ironing is only
possible at higher ironing temperature.
• Ensure that there is enough water in the water
tank.
• Stand the iron upright.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE
REFERENCE
Note: When using the iron for the first time,
test on an old piece of fabric to ensure that
the sole plate and water tank is completely
clean.
• Insert the plug into the wall socket.
• Set the temperature control dial to the steam
position.
• Wait a little while for the power indication light to
switch off and to come on again.
• Set the dry/steam selector knob to the steam
position. The steam will emerge from the vents in
the sole plate when the iron is held in the horizon-
tal position.
SAFETY PROTECTIVE CUT – OUT
In the unlikely event of the thermostat failing, the
protection cut – out will operate to prevent the iron
overheating. The iron should then be taken to an
authorized dealer/service agent for repair.
CARE AND CLEANING
• Before cleaning the iron, ensure it is discon-
nected from the power supply and has completely
cooled down.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
•Please read all instructions before use.
• Ensure the voltage rating on the rating label
corresponds to the main voltage in your home.
• Use the iron only for its intended use.
• The iron should always be switched off before
connecting or disconnecting from the power
supply. Never yank/pull the cord to disconnect
the plug from the wall socket.
• Deposits and other residues on the soleplate
can be removed with a rough cloth soaked in a
vinegar/water solution.
• The housing/body may be wiped with a damp
cloth and then polished with a dry one.
• Do not use abrasives on the sole plate.
• Keep the soleplate smooth: avoid hard contact
with metal objects.
• Do not operate the iron with a damaged cord or
plug. Never use the iron if it is damaged in any way.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
disassemble the iron. Take it to a qualified service
centre for examination and repair. Incorrect
reassembling can cause electric shock when the
iron is used.
• NOTE: Ironing dirty fabric or fabric not rinsed
fully will result in the iron sticking and dirt
accumulating on the bottom of the soleplate, as
will an iron set at too high a temperature for the
relevant fabric.
STORAGE
• When leaving the appliance momentarily always
switch it off, remove the plug from the wall socket
and stand the iron on its rear panel.
• Turn the temperature control dial to “MIN” and
set the steam selector dial to position “0”.
(“0”=No Steam).
• Take care that children cannot touch the iron
when the iron is hot and make sure they cannot pull
the mains cord.
• Disconnect the plug from the wall socket.
• Pour any remaining water out of the water tank.
Then cover the filler cap.
•To protect against the risk of electric shock, do
not immerse the iron, cord or plug in water or other
liquids.
• Stand the iron upright and let it cool down
completely.
• The power cord can be wraped around the iron
when it has cooled down.
• Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts,

hot water or steam, take caution when you turn a
steam iron upside down: there may be hot water in
the tank.
• Do not allow the supply cord to come into contact
with hot surfaces. Let the iron cool down completely
before transporting, moving or storage. Wrap the
power supply cord around the iron when storing.
• Always disconnect the main plug from wall
socket before filing the iron with water or pouring the
remaining water out.
• To avoid an overloaded circuit, do not operate
another high voltage appliance in the same electric
circuit.
• If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a
10-ampere (Europe) or 15 ampere (America) cord
should be used. Cords rated for less amperage may
overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord
so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over.
• This iron is for household use only.
• Do not operate the iron with wet hands.
• Do not touch the plug or power supply cord with
wet hands.
• The iron should not be picked up or carried by the
power supply cord.
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervi-
sion or instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.

plug sockets on 1 circuit.
Iron sticking to clothing
Temperature is too hot
Turn down temparature on control dial.
Clean and rinse item.
Check temperature setting is suitable for
fabric type.
Clothing is dirty or not rinsed
thoroughly.
Use spray function to dampen item and
check temperture is correct.
Use a old linen cloth to remove any trace
of dirt on the soleplate. Use iron soleplate
cleaner for bad marks.
